This Cinco de Mayo
I got to run around my friend’s party in a Folklorico dress with my girl friends that actually are Mexican. It was a good time. That’s me on the left in case there were any questions. I got my outfit on Olvera St. in Downtown LA.

My friend Alex Busch was one of the 8 crew members in sailing accident off the coast of San Francisco this past weekend during the annual Farallon Islands race. Out of 8 she is one of the 4 still missing. (Only one deceased body was recovered)
Her longtime boyfriend Nick Vos, another dear friend of mine from high school, was one of the 3 survivors.
Alex was the first female Bat Girl in MLB history and had the privilege of working alongside her favorite team, The San Francisco Giants.
She was also the founder of Lady Baseball, an organization that provides women the opportunity to play baseball (as opposed to softball).

At last night’s game the Giants paid tribute to Alex and the 4 other victims of the accident.
Alex was one of the kindest, most genuine person I’d ever met. She was funny, outgoing, adventurous, smart and talented. Alex, you are missed.
